Overview
The Problem
Amidst the surge in remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, students face challenges in adapting to virtual education, struggling with self-regulation and effective time management. UniTracker aims to address this issue by providing an intuitive platform tailored to enhance students' organizational skills and academic success.
The challenge
How can we design a mobile application that empowers students to effortlessly monitor their coursework progress and master time management, fostering a seamless and efficient academic experience?

Interview
we engaged in ten user interviews across diverse university and college programs to understand the student experience in the evolving e-learning landscape. Our inquiries, centered on three key metrics, aimed to empathize with and grasp the challenges students face, shaping UniTracker's development to cater to their unique needs.

Insights
Challenges in managing deadlines independently.
I spend valuable time on current e-learning platforms grappling with disorganized setups and missing information, hindering a smooth learning experience.
Difficulty in finding information.
Information is occasionally posted on Slate rather than Teams, causing confusion as we need to check both platforms. Project submissions for specific assignments may be present on Teams but not reflected on Slate.
Students experienced challenges in effectively handling their time.
While initially adopting Notion, I eventually discontinued its use, turning to text my classmates and engage directly in the team's channel for better understanding of ongoing activities.
Design
Brainstorming
Following a comprehensive review and analysis of our research findings, we progressed to iterate on the features for UniTracker. This involved determining the user flow, addressing identified pain points, and constructing a systematic map to serve as the foundation for the application's flow.
